Callehan is Tony Trimper often accompanied by a colourful cast of characters.

Tony chose the name Callehan as his band name and music persona to honor his Irish ancestory. Callehan have been local ambassadors of Maritime Music since the 2018 release of the Gourley Shanty Riot. This infamous 1856 Irish riot in Nova Scotia is just one of the tales Callehan has resurrected in songwriting. Callehan’s collaborations include Ashley MacIsaac, Terra Spencer, Christina Martin, and many more.

Fun is priority #1; engaging audiences in story and song keep spirits raised high. After many beers sold in many pubs and larger stages, Tony quit the day job and is all in! Depending on the venue Callehan can be a solo (just Tony), duo, trio or full band act.
